  After a brief period off the air, the OS overlay is back - thanks to the OS OpenSpace API. This should be a mouch more satisfactory solution than the old Explorer page scraping. That said, I have a finite number of requests per day (30,000 tiles), so the service may intermittently show blank tiles. The current tile usage is:
